Well, apparently Tabulas has deleated my oh-so-wonderful layout just because I haven't posted for like a year. How rude! Well I am now here to post only the results of a quiz that I happened to find on Yue's blog (which she manages to keep MUCH better than me, despite having like 2 other sites as well...) Well Yue, we seem to have simular results. Apparently both of us are huge geeks destined for failure in the social world. hehe.

Warning: Complaining ahead. Viewer descretion advized

Posted by WilloWeeper03 at 09:02 AM on August 8, 2004.

Damn it. I am on vacation and have been for about 2 and a half weeks. Before that I was in Mexico City with my youth group and was only home 2 days before going on this trip. I am in trouble because I lost my Lit packet I need to do. I still have the essay to write for English too. Plus two Spanish packets. But I already knew I would need to do all that stuff and it's my fault I haven't gotten it done yet. Its the stupid Yearbook teacher who is going to ruin the few days of summer break I am going to have left when I get home!!

Many of you guys have heard this, but the Yearbook teacher lost my huge assignment that was due fourth quarter. She never bothered telling me she didn't have it, and I didn't know anything was wrong until I got my report card and I was sporting a painfull D for my first grade. Naturally I call Mrs Strahan and ask her why I got a D, why she didn't tell me, and if I can get a grade change. She got all flustered and says she knows I would never not do an assignment, but she doesn't know what to do and she'll call me back. So, after many weeks of badgering, she finally tells me she will give me a B+ for the quarter. Ok, so that's better than a D, but I deserved at least an A that quarter! Unfortunately by that time it was time for me to go to Mexico, so I get on a plane (barely, the stupid airport wouldn't let us leave because the thought we were being kidnapped because or release papers weren't signed within 30 days, so they called all our parents down to the airport at 4:30 AM and made them sign all this junk and we barely made the plane. Anyway, sorry for the major run-on sentance.) So I get back and I have 2 days to rest (I caught a bug in Mexico and spent half the time puking up my guts for the first time since 1st grade. Amazinly I still had a great time there.) and to pack for our families trip. I called Mrs. Strahan and left a message the day before I left saying I really wanted to try for an A and hoped she could give me another assignment to do to try and make an A. Then I leave on a road trip with my mom and 2 little sisters and another family with a 13 year old boy and a 6th grader boy to drive across the whole state in one car packed full of junk. It took us 4 days in a car to get to Maine. And now i'm finally on my last day on a trip and I get the internet for the first time in nearly 3 weeks and I find an email from Mrs Strahan. She says that she will possibly give me an A- if I write a 300-400 word paper on what people did over summer using quotes, facts, angles etc. She wants a variety of people and good quotes. She even wants the people I interview names and numbers to confirm I really did interview them. And this is due the first day of school.
So on top of all the work i've been putting off for various reasons I now have a stupid assignment to do for a possible crappy grade of A-. All because my teacher is an absolute ditz who doesn't like me much and lost my huge assignment I spent weeks doing.

How's that for a nice last week of summer. Not to mention the idiotic fact that we get two weeks less summer than usual. And the fact that I haven't been home having fun for nearly a month. Plus I am in 5th hour lunch again with absolutely no chance of having nearly half my friends with me because racketball is only 5th period. At least I figured out that I have 2 10th graders in my 9th grade Math class. Fun. Does anyone know if Constance decided to do that class or not? And Yue's moving. Damn, I can tell how great this year will be already.

Ok, i'm sorry for complaining so much, i'm not in to great of a mood right now. You can write a scathing reply on how much I complain if you must, I know i'm being mellowdramatic or however you spell that. At leat I finally got regestered for DMB! Thanks for the reminder Yue.

Connection

Posted by WilloWeeper03 at 08:41 PM on June 27, 2004.

Have you ever had a really good conversation with somebody? Isn't that great, when you don't know someone that well and then you suddenly completely connect with them and have like a three hour conversation? I love deep discussions. I think I don't classify a friend as close until I have a really good discussion with them, at least once.
My parents left for the weekend (actually my dad was on a buisness trip and my mom was at some basketball conferance) and so I stayed at my friend Constance's house from church. We have been good friends for like 3 years, and we've had deep discussions before so I consider her a good friend. See we kind of have the same thought process, even though we seem like complete opposites on the outside.
Isn't it weird how that happens sometimes? I make friends with the most random people. Hardly any of my friends are much like me. No actually none of you guys are much like me really. Anyway Constance is one of those really friendly talkative people. She's also kind of ghetto; she's mixed and goes to a kind of ghetto school. A real people person too. Usually I hate that type.
If I had met Constance this year I would have hated her immediately. I would think of her as popular and shallow. When I first started going to her church I was a shy insecure 6th grader. She talked to me for weeks before I would actually respond with more than a word or two. She was home schooled at the time, so I knew she wasn't fake. Homeschoolers just aren't around people enough to learn how to be fake.
Constance is the only people-person I know is truly genuine. You know how nice that is to see? A talkative person who everyone likes that is actually a real person? Especially when you realize you have the same way of thinking. We have the same views on everything, even though we are completely different in so many ways.
For some reason that just seems really comforting...
Anyway sorry for boring you guys... I'm sure you don't actually care about someone you don't even know, but I needed to write something and this was the first thing that came into my head.
